| Michiko and Junko became our first contacts in Japan. Through the months of communicating through e-mail and Fax we established a relationship with these wonderful ladies, and both were overjoyed when their lyres arrived just before Christmas. When they played their lyres out in the community, other people heard them and wanted to know how they too, could obtain such an instrument. Since that time, Michiko and Junko have become distributors for us in their country, and continue to order many Rose Lyres.
We have enjoyed their letters and photographs so much that we would like to share some of them with you here, and let you know a little bit more about the work that the Rose Lyre is doing. Junko plays and belongs to a Lyre group in her community, and conducts Seminars regularly. Michiko composes and sings music which she performs in Concerts throughout Japan. We are hoping to be able to offer recordings of her beautiful compositions sometime in 2000. Both ladies truly understand the soul of the Rose Lyre, and it is so lovingly expressed in their letters, which sound more like poetry than prose.

| “When I saw her (the Rose Lyre) for the first time, I held her in my breast and said “Hello, my friend. Welcome to our home. I’ve been waiting for you for a long time.” My heart was moved with joy and tears fell down my cheek. Happy, happy tears. The tone of Rose (lyre) is so soft and tender. How lovely, how sweetly she sings! She can understand all my feelings. She knows my memories that I have had deeply in my mind, too. Truly, she is myself. When I play my Rose, I feel as if another myself were talking to me tenderly, ‘I love you. I’m always with you. No more sorrow, No more fear. Only love and peace will guide you.’ Rose has become a part of me and she heals me with her beautiful tone.” . . . . . .“I believe this is the chance God gives me to bring the message of Heaven ‘Love’ to people. This is my great joy, to see many people. I travel many places with Rose. . . . Music can get over the wall of the difference of religion or opinion, or belief. . . .words of Michiko”
